T-Ball 2016

You started T-Ball! You are on the Grasshoppers Team! And you are a natural. You have had 2 practices so far, and your couch is very excited to have you on his team:

5 Shots & Crab Dinner

You had your 5 year check up. It was the first time you had shots & mommy wasn't there. I feel absolutely  horrible about not being there. You are so brave, and I am so proud of you. I'm sorry I was not there sweet boy. Mama had to work, and I know that doesn't make it okay. I promised to take you out for a treat when I got home from work. I told you that you could even have ice cream for dinner if you wanted to. When I got home I asked you where you would like to go, and you said "The best nights are the nights when I get to eat crab."  So, we went to Red Lobster to get you some crab:

You had crab with a side of mac & cheese.

Daddy could barely crack the crab shell fast enough to keep

 up with how fast you were gobbling it up.

You also had a virgin Bahama Mama.

Mama had a drink as well....

Happy Valentine's Day 2016

 

We tried something different this Valentine's Day. We cut out paper hearts and wrote nice things to each other and them. Then we taped them to each others doors:

 

 

We gave him his first Giants shirt for Valentine's Day.

Fun at Grandma & Grandpa's

We went to visit Grandma & Grandpa. K built a truck with Grandpa:

 

He also got to sand some wood.

Plus, he used a hammer!

It's always fun doing projects with Grandpa in his garage!

 

Happy 5th Birthday!

My wish came true. God gave me a beautiful baby boy. I don't know how I got this lucky. It seems like just yesterday, my doctor said" Open your eyes, you have a boy!". I will never forget the first time I opened my eyes and saw you. The doctor held you up in the air after you were born, so I could see you for the first time. I had never felt anything else like it. A love so strong. A love so unconditional. You are my son, and I get the honor of being your Mom. It is the best gift I have ever received. This month we celebrated your 5th Birthday. I can't believe you are already 5!

We feel so lucky to be blessed with such a sensitive, caring, intelligent, happy son.

We are so proud of you. And we are so very proud to be your parents.

New Years Eve 2015

Well, of course I'm not feeling well today. We were suppose to make pizza's like last year, but I didn't have enough energy to go to the grocery store. I put some meatballs into the crock pot & Daddy BBQ some ribs & got a movie:

We munched on meatballs during the day.

We had BBQ ribs for dinner and watched the new Peter Pan movie.

Wish I was feeling better to do something fun with K.

 Happy New Year! I hope the new year brings nothing but good things to all.

I have 2 goals for the new year. They are tough goals too. I am determined.
