First Dentist Appointment

Earlier this month, K had his first dentist appointment! One night he took a bad fall. His mouth began to bleed and I noticed that his right front tooth was swollen. I decided to take him into the dentist just to make sure he was okay. The receptionist ask me if it turns out he is okay....if I would like the dentist to go ahead and do his first cleaning? I said, yes!


There were video games and movies in the lobby at his dentist's office!

The hygienist cleaned his teeth! She also gave him a goodie bag which included a tooth brush, floss, tooth paste, and stickers! She also gave him a battery operated tooth brush! 

He was swollen, but the dentist said he was healing correctly. Next appointment is in 6 months!

He loved the dentist, and can't wait to go back! Yeah!!!!

    It's really nice of your dentist to have video games and movies in the lobby. It's a great way for kids to relieve themselves of tension before their appointment. First time visitors tend to get very nervous, so those forms of amusement will be good for them. Anyway, K did very well for his first appointment. The trip seemed to have sparked his interest of oral hygiene. Good job! :)
