Wednesday night K and I were practicing his flash cards, when I noticed something. We were laying in bed, right after taking showers. K did not have a shirt on. I noticed a very small bump on his chest.
Me: Honey, what is that on your chest? Does it hurt?
K: No, hmmmm....
Me: Does it itch?
K: No, hmmmmm....I think I'm getting another belly button.
It turns out, that it was just some dry skin, but his reaction was priceless.

Halloween Town Festival 2015
We went to the Halloween Festival last weekend:

I'm Sorry Santa
Last night K and I were sounding out the letters of his flash cards. I put the letters CAT together for him to sound out a word. I asked him to repeat the word slowly. Instead of saying it slowly he said it fast and ended up saying a bad word instead of cat. I know this is not good, but I couldn't help but laugh. He asked me why I was laughing , and I told him. He immediately said, " I'm sorry Santa!". I laughed again, because it was so darn cute! I wish I could stay in these type of moments forever.

Grandma P moved in! Halloween Fun!
Grandma P moved in last weekend! She is going to be taking care of K, so K doesn't have to stay at school & daycare 12 hrs a day. Last Sunday, I watched K and his cousin while Daddy & Uncle J moved Grandma's stuff. We decided to go to the Halloween store:

Flag Football
K started Flag Football. His first game was yesterday! He did so good! And he had so much fun playing! There are 8 teams total. K is on team 6, which is the yellow team! There are 10 kids on his team.
We stained our Hardwood Kitchen Floor
We sanded our Kitchen hardwood floors and re-stained them!
This is what they looked like before.
They had lots of deep scratches from the previous owners dogs.
We rented a sander from Hone Depot.

Our original plan was to get this completed during Labor Day weekend. Well.....it took more like 3 weeks! Our frig was in our family room for 3 weeks! That was fun....

I selected the Dark Walnut stain color, because that is what I used on the Kitchen table! It was way too dark for the floor!!!
We sanded the Dark Walnut off, and re stained the floor with a provincial MinWax stain color.
I put 2 coats of stain down, and 2 coats of polyurethane.
First Fire of the Season
We had our first fire of the season last night! It was cold and windy outside, and I was loving it!
K had his first Hot Chocolate of the season!
We enjoyed both of these while watching the new Avengers movie!
