K's cousin got out of class and our adventure begins.....here we go!!!
We went to a new park:
This park had a special feature. It had an extra long slide:
The boys loved the slide!! But, I must admit I was nervous. It doesn't look that scary in the pictures, but in person this slide is HUGE! The railings next to the stairs don't seem close enough. And going down the slide, there really isn't enough to hold onto either. Plus, they got so much speed going down the slide that the landing in the sandbox was a little tricky. Hmmmm.....I'm thinking we won't come back to this park until they get a little older.
We wandered over to the other part of the park:
The boys met two brothers and all four boys started climbing trees:
Soon it was time to go, and K did not want to leave. He decided to hide on the spiral slide where Mama couldn't get him.
Mama: K you better come down!
K : No!
Mama: You better come down, or I'll send your cousin up there to get you!
K : No! I no go!
Mama: K's cousin will you go up there and get your cousin down, please?
K's Cousin: Okay
Two minutes later K was down.
Next we went to Jamba Juice to get a treat:
K's Auntie called when we were leaving Jamba Juice, so we went to go meet her. We dropped off K's cousin with his Mommy, and decided to go home.
I had told the boys I would take them to another park before K's Auntie called, so K was upset when he found out his cousin was going home. To cheer him up, I took him swimming in the pool.
The water was chilly, so we didn't stay at the pool long. Daddy called as soon as we got home, and told us he wanted to take us out to dinner! We picked Mimi's Café! And we were off to dinner as soon as Daddy got home:
Yum! After dinner we went to the mall to have Mommy's Anniversary present sized. While we were there we got Daddy a birthday present, which we plan on playing with tomorrow. I'm not sure who is more excited Daddy or K?
