What does " naughty " mean Mama?

After we got home from picking K up from school, he asked me two questions:

K: What does " whatever " mean Mama?
Mama: Where did you hear that word?
K: Shane said, " Whatever K." ( Shane is K's buddy at school)
Mama: It is a lazy word. There are strong words, and lazy words. You should try to use strong words. Try not to use lazy words. Whatever means it does matter.
K: What does " naughty " mean?
Mama: Where did you hear that word?
K: At school.
Mama: Who said that word?
K: Shane.
Mama: It means that you are doing something that you shouldn't be doing.
K: Oh, okay. I told Shane he is naughty. And Shane told me, whatever K.
Mama: Lol, okay. ( I'm not sure in what context he heard those words, but he sure remembered how he used them once he heard them! It's so interesting how much toddlers can pick up by just listening.)

K's Last day of preschool at this school

Today was K's last day of preschool at this school. He got his teacher some beautiful flowers, and he said good- bye to all of his buddies.  I'm not sure if he completely understands that he will not be going back. It hurts my heart to see him say good- bye to his school friends, but I just have to keep telling myself it will be a good thing in the long run, he will make more friends at his new school :)

His first teacher, Miss Samina.

Miss Samina put together all of his art projects that he finished recently, so he could take them home with him.

He painted, and put glitter on this starfish.
He got a beach ball bag.
He glued shells to this contact grid.

He painted and glued this pirate face.
He painted this crab!
He painted this pirate ship and glued these clouds!

I'm so proud of my lil man! His teacher said," He is very intelligent, funny and smart. Making friends is easy for him. He enjoys art projects and listening to stories. I enjoyed having the honor of being his first teacher, and I enjoyed his smile." We gave her hugs good-bye, and she looked as if she was having as hard of time as I was. :(  I am so happy that she was his first teacher! And that she made his first experience in school a GREAT one! Thank you Miss Samina!

Gardening at Grandma & Grandpa's

K's preschool has a different theme for each week. This week, the theme was " Pirates":

K painted this treasure map this week. When I picked him up from school today, he told me he mixed blue & yellow and made GREEN! He was so proud of himself, and so was I!

He also got a bag full of gold coins and a pirate patch!
He loves his pirate patch!

K's favorite thing to do when visiting Grandma & Grandpa?
Feeding their Koi!!

We washed Daddy's truck while we were there too!

My son got a lot done today!
