Letter Recognition

Today we worked on learning the alphabet. K has a paper bag full of sponges. Each sponge has a different upper case letter on it. He dropped the sponges onto the carpet so he could easily see them all, and pick them up one at a time. He would pick them up one at a time, look at it, ask which letter it was, say the letter out loud, and put it back into the bag. We did this one by one, until they were all back in the bag:

 

 

We also played swat the letter Mama calls out. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of this game:

 

Then we worked on recognizing colors, by working with some Jumbo aqua balls:

 

K liked to smell them. They don't really smell like anything....

 

Daddy decided he wanted to go to Target to get a new router. We ran into Topher's Mommy while we were there, and she recommended that we check out the Halloween section of the store because everything was %70 off! We walked over there and K found his 3rd costume:

 

He has been Peter Pan, Spiderman, and now one of the planes from Pixar's movie Planes.
