The day after Thanksgiving .......

It's sad to hear that people are out shopping on Thanksgiving. The people that worked on Thanksgiving  have families that would like to see their faces around the dinner table. I wish people thought about that before they think about how much money they could save. Maybe retail stores will stop opening on Thanksgiving if no one goes out shopping? Think first, please don't shop on Thanksgiving!

Today my husband cooked a huge turkey for us! We will have turkey galore! Turkey sandwiches, turkey casseroles, turkey and gravy, turkey, turkey, turkey! Who doesn't love turkey left overs the day after Thanksgiving? We made our own turkey so we would have plenty of turkey to enjoy for the next couple of days, and we stuck some in the freezer!

 

This is the first time we've made our own turkey for left overs. While Daddy cut the turkey, K appeared several times for small pieces to snack on!

Mommy made some chocolate chip cookies to snack on. They were almost all gone by the end of the day!

Daddy and K playing Super Mario Bros. on our Wii U !!! It was a fun day to just lay around, eat turkey, and enjoy each others company.
